The Greater is HE ministry team is looking forward to ministry in the Apayao region of Luzon, as well as Crusades in the Quezon City area, Pampanga area and the Tondo Dumpsite area. As well as the crusades We are believing God to send us help to have medical teams in Antipolo and Pampanga. We have not set the date yet, but are waiting for the Lord to bring all things together and to show us when we are to leave next. As early as March 2010 would be valid. But supplies, food and Christian literature are being sent much earlier.
Many of you do not know that in Tondo Manila, there is about 200,000 people who live in this slum area, 30,000 people actually live in the dump itself.
For many Americans the sight of people living in a dump is beyond their imagination, especially since thousands and thousands of children eek out what food and clothing they can find from the dumpings. Their situation is beyond critical, its a political embarassement to the Philippine government and its a tremendous problem to face with such enormous populations. Greater is HE Ministries seeks to bring aid and gospel truth to this impoverished place in Tondo-Manila.
We already have the favor of God to begin work in the dump area, we have pastors and volunteers ready to go with us. We are counting upon God to move upon believers hearts to concern themselves with what God concerns himself with. To care about what God cares about.
Within that dump, there is a reality that must be faced. There are many hundreds of Christians that live there, in the squatter homes are pastors that have been called of God to live there and minister the gospel to these poor people. Sacrifices are being made and these sacrifices are beautiful. What Im saying is, more sacrifice and more concern will have to be given for this place in the world to hear the gospel and know the love of God through the people of God.
Christians....your brothers and sisters in Christ live there. I ask you to help them, not me, but them for Jesus sake.
